what's the best 2" lift with the least harshest ride?

I wondering what would have the softest ride. Just curious. Thanks.

This ^ but with aftermarket coils not preloading your stock ones. I think you guys get just about 2" with the 5100's and Eibachs set at 0

 

bilstein 5100s with eibach coils. billies and the eibachs give you guys 1.6 i believe.

The best option would most likely be what JLee mentioned but they are very pricey.

A good option would be new struts with aftermarket coils such as OME or Eibach. OME coils have a softer spring rate and might be a little cushier than Eibachs. I believe to stay in the 2" range, you'd be looking at 884 coils. 885's would put you a little over 2" of lift. Eibachs would give you about 1.6".

The least expensive option is 5100's up front set at 1.75. This would preload your stock coil to provide lift.

In the rear, 1.5" 3-leaf progressive AAL with new shocks. Again, depending on what you want to spend, Fox, Icon or King would be best, Bilstein would work and would still ride nice.

You'd have a firmer on road ride but I think it's a more planted feeling.

this. eibachs only give you 1.6" though. so add in a 1/2" top plate spacer

 

I just installed Bilstein 5100 front shocks set on 0 with a set of OME 884 front springs. I feel it is firmer than stock but much less harsh. The stock setup was harsh due to hitting the bumpstops with the soft springs and a lack of proper compression damping. Now the spring rate is much more suitable for a truck and the 5100 provides the correct damping for the spring.
