I sold my 03 SR5 in march 2011. I bought a 09 Nissan Pro4X CC w/30K miles for more space, I also test drove an 08 Tacoma DCLB Sport and I liked it but I wanted to locker, My fiancee liked the Nissan....so....I bought the Nissan. I have regretted it ever since (and I don't use the locker as much as I thought so a Sport should be fine).

SO there are Two DCLB's for sale both with just under 50K Miles I am looking to get a truck that will last me at least 10 years @12k/year so that brings us to aprox. 190K miles. Any reliability problems with higher mileage 2nd gen taco's.

Now I have talked to the dealership and they said there should be no problem doing a straight trade, truck for truck. I don't kow if I will loose any money by doing this. I am prepared to loose a little <$1000.

I know where my heart is and I want the taco, I just want to know if I am going to loose my shirt or if I am still going to be safe trading it for the Tacoma after 5 months.

You won't know until you talk to the dealer... I have a good relationship with my dealer and have purchased 4 Toyotas over the past 10 years from them. My last trade in (2005 with 102,000 miles) for a brand new 2010 cost me NOTHING at the deal and only $20 more a month on my lease.

Trade it. The Tacoma will hold it's value better than the Nissan

what he said. i personally agree that toyotas in general are tough vehicles. My moms 4runner(she got new) its like a 1998 has over 240K miles and aint one thing wrong with it! And thats why i got a taco :)

Well I did it, pending financing, I got a DCLB Radiant Red TRD Sport with 55k Miles on it, Should be taking possession on Monday, I took a small loss on the truck but I think I got a pretty good deal on the Tacoma and I plan on having this truck for a long while. Can't wait to start modding!
