Imo I'm not going to waste my time at the dealership just so they can trim my gas pedal. My current floor mat in no way can cause a sticking accelerator, even then I already know to go into neutral should my truck "malfunction" even though the NHTSA concluded that all cases were at driver error...

Do I just keep ignoring these? I've gotten them twice!

They'll keep sending them, You don't have to get it done, they may ask you to sign a waiver next time you're at the dealership.
    Cheers...

Just go get it done, it takes like 10 minutes and will possibly save your ass from being sued if you have an accident and the other parties lawyer sees you ignored an urgent safety recall.

They'll get you next time you go to the dealership. I signed a waiver and they still chopped the pedal but like OZ said, you won't notice the difference.

The only reason I'm going to get it done is because the new program fixes the goofy transmission shifting which drives me nuts! Other than that there is no problem with the petal in my opinion, driver error, happens all the time. My mother had a 1995 Audi that people claimed had unintended acceleration, bullshit, driver error again. After that they started putting shift locks on vehicles. How often do you read a about someone crashing their car into a building while parking? They always mix up the gas and brake.

Thanks y'all I'll just sign the waiver?

What exactly will the transmission TSB do for me? I've never noticed any hiccups in the 08 truck...

I refused it a bunch of times. Last time I was there I dropped the truck off and didn't wait for it. When I picked it up they said they did the recall and to be perfectly honest, I would have never known if they didn't tell me.

Just remember we live in a time where no one wants to take responsability for their actions. With that said If for some reason you do have that wreck a good lawyer will find that you were negligent.
Look at all the big truck wrecks they always find some one at fault, because it was not my fault.
Do what you want that's my opinion:cool:.
