    so I dropped my son off at pre-school this morning. now that i am at work (1 hour later) they call to say he has to be picked up because school is now cancelled. :mad: they couldn't tell me they might close when I dropped him off? :rant: now my wife has to pack up the kids to go get him.

    Hey Foxy mornin! First time I got called in I tried getting out of it by telling them all cops are liars, lawyers are criminals, whomever has the most money wins, judges are nothing but well practiced lawyers (liars). It didn't work. Almost got contempt!

    Second time I let it slide and I actually enjoyed jury duty!

    Well I think I may be excused for many reasons, hoping my prior job on the local police department and current job with all retired cops will be enough without having to go into all the others. I'll play the I know too much about the law and everyone is guilty card if I have to and hope that works. I have never had to go before, so I dont know what its really like. I wouldn't mind except that I am on grave shift schedule and serving is going to really screw me up :yawn: .

    Sounds like you'll get a pass on jury duty.. I had my employer write a letter to the court and they let me pass. They did write a nasty letter back saying it was the only pass they were gonna give me.. Then I moved out of that county. :D There isn't too much going on in my current county and I'm friends with the sheriff and know most of the attorneys in town. That tends to skew things.:cool:

    Lucy, you can always say your a member of the klan or communist party. That works too! :D
