i used to have a white explorer before it was totalled. not a super exciting color, but nice.

ahh, how could i forget the army green...a gorgeous color. though not availiable til '10, so it might be out of my price range. we shall see. depends on how the bidding war i intend on starting between 10 dealerships goes. :D

not too sure how I feel with the FJ already having a "satoshi style/recessed grill" from the factory...and this guy changing out the plastic mesh.
Having an aftermarket bumper, the lower plastic grill wont stand out as much. I am going to look into this
Needs some sort of emblem. (with my Hella supertones behind my grill and the AP bumper....might not look as bad as this guys IMO

I guess the mounting points are already there for the "after market mesh"
you should also get your hands on the stock front bumper (*cough* steal Fred's*) and see what you can do for the lower grill.(those who wanna aftermarket look upper and a matching lower) I know you can do the top grill no problem. I may actually PM you for a sheet of mesh/grill. Need to go measure though.

I don't understand why these companies don't incorporate license plate holes into their bumpers, especially ones based in California.

John said he "got hit up for tags", which I'm assuming he got pulled over for not having a front license plate, required in the state of California. I was just saying it's silly the off-road companies don't incorporate holes in their bumper to mount a license plate, especially California based companies considering front license plates are required. :p
