    I really hate to ask this question but I'm never 100% sure. If I go to ProComp or a tire shop online and fill out my truck information, what is the appropriate answer to this question?

    Typically I put down just 'Tacoma', as the other options don't seem correct ... I've got a double cab TRD off road ...

    If you don't have 4x4 but you are TRD then you're a prerunner which will have an emblem on your tailgate.

    true..but depending on what the site offers there may be different products offered for the trucks... spindles for example.

    but if looking for tires/wheels the prerunner and 4x4 have the same stuff but the "tacoma" can be a base model 5 lugger with tiny tires and 5 lug wheels
