I have a squirt p4 on my keychain, used it a million times, the pliers are awesome for pulling metal slivers out.

This is what I've been carrying around for a year or two. I have the serrated version. Got it at a knife/gun show for $30. Best knife I've probably ever had for a small one. I have a small collection of pocket knives and boot knives.

    Guaranteed to get you hurt.

I carry a Buck Folding Hunter as a working knife. I like the fact Buck keeps sending me replacements each time I break a blade doing something really stupid like using it as a pry bar.

I have been carrying a leatherman knife for a few years, pretty nice blades. Sent one back to have the screws re-done. They sent me a new up-grade model back no charge.
They keep an edge, quick to open, and the lock is solid.

I have a wooden board that a has a handle on the bottom end to keep a hold of it. On the top side is a leather strap attached to each side, one side is smooth and the other side has a small amount of Clover valve grinding compound on it. Ever so often you can put some more of the compound on it to keep it like new. Works great to hone a blade without causing damage or ruining the original grind. A friend of mine that does wood working made it for me a while back.

Interesting... I've about chopped a finger off my self cutting bagels before:eek:.

Walmart sells a folding knife for $1 with a plastic handle. I bought it and wrapped the handle in duct tape (for improved grip), I'm surprised its lasted this long.

I carry a Mossy Oak 912 on me at all times. Picked it up on sale @ Gander for $7. For something to inexpensive, its pretty well made.

i like benchmade and kershaw, but kershaw is much cheaper..i have two kershaw vapors. another one i have is a smith & wesson knife - one of the greatest things ever, its sharp as hell and it only cost me 10 bucks at academy. figured if i bust that one up i just get another one, had it for a while though and its doing great.

Bringing this thread back from the dead.......I'm currently going through a pretty serious Benchmade stage.I have had the Stryker before but recently got a Griptilian combo-edge black blade that I have been carrying at work.I also picked up a mini-grip to EDC and if Santa reads my wish list,he'll bring me a mini-Barrage,AO.

Favorites still include Spyderco,BM,CRK and Strider.
