I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

Let's recap autozone gave eric the worng CV axle and I didn't notice intil eric was returning the cores and he left his phone in his truck. The autozone by my house didn't have one in stock so eric & tam had to drive to Oakland at 8:30 to get a replacment. In the mean time me and Jon installed the driver side CV Lower ball joint and my old 5100s. My dumb ass put the worng nut on the tie rod end and got it stuck "dam Toyota with your look alike nuts and bolts" we messed with that for about 45min and said fuck it shot it with some PB blaster. Eric and tam came back we installed the other CV and 5100 then went back to the driver side tie rod. This time the nut broke free PB blaster FTW! Buttoned it up and cleaned up shop. A 2.5 hour job turned in to just about 5 hours:eek:

Ha no mod day 4 I'm fixing my brakes and painting my skids that's it. Then I'm going to sit back drink a beer and watch some TV.

You could teach it some lyrics, might sound better.

But yeah, if it goes away in 4, its that needle bearing that Jim replaced. I have had it for 50k miles. I'm sure the lift aggravates it, but in my experience and reading about others, you'll be fine. Just replace it down the road someday.

It's ok. Easy mistake to make. I did the same thing...just didn't tell you. Remember when I couldn't get the cotter pin in the LBJ on the driver's side? It's because I had the tie rod end nut on the LBJ bolt. Only reason I noticed is cause you pointed out I forgot the washer on the LBJ.

Yeah man i thought we were going to have to cut off the tie rod end and buy a new one that dam ball joint was just spinning. But PB blaster and a big ass C clamp FTW. If we didn't have those issues I could of done the whole job in about 1,5 to 2 hours

Hey Jerry, had enough of mod day/week, eh? I was thinkin, you have a press, you have a welder, once you get your shop set up, I've been thinking about buying an ARB or whatever, and we could carve it up and turn it into the urban assault bumper, (which differs in the sense that it ISN"T designed to climb rocks, it's designed to kill prius's and anything else that's unlucky enough to end up in front of it) that way we wouldn't have to fabricate the whole damn thing from scratch.

    Just a thought

    Nice logo Jerry!
Think......Road Warrior......Hell Jerry, you drive the freeways around here, I spend most of my time on those freeways, not the boonies, my dictum is simple, if i hit it, it dies. Heck if we wanted to design a bumper, say the Urban Assault Bumper, you could market it, I've been searching for months online for what I have in mind, but everything I see is made for the bigger trucks. I want something that is a cross between and ARB but lower in front of the wheels and a little more kinda like a tow truck bumper.

If it's mild and you don't want to feel it, the diff drop will likely eliminate it. If it's more than mild, the diff drop will lessen it. If it doesn't really bother you, just ignore it.:D

When it annoys you enough that you can't stand it anymore, we now know how to fix it.;)

Yeah that was definitely easier than I expected. I have a diff drop and its still there, but it showed up about a year after I lifted.
