Stripped Interior - What to do ?

I got stuck in a big puddle last Friday. It turns out that some water seeped in and the carpet got wet.



After watching a great how to video on youtube, I stripped the interior to pull the carpet so it could properly dry out.



Are there any mods I should do while the interior is out?

 

I'd lay down some sound dampener for road noise, and maybe pre-wire for any future AV projects?

Seal up the grommets with silicone. Put electronics in dry bags.

Don't enter a puddle unless you know how deep it is

I have NOT performed the rear diff breather relocation mod so I decided to change out the rear differential gear oil to play it safe. I'm pleased to announce that the differential fluid was not contaminated.





She now has some fresh 80W90 gear oil and posi modifier in the rear diff. I feel good about that.

 

Oh yes, I'm going to. I stuck the struck at the 30K mileage mark so all these fluids are due for changing anyway (in my book at least).

I'll be changing the coolant as well.
