Best Exhaust Tip?

Recommendations for good quality tip without paying steep for it?

 

None is best! But I want to help the economy. Oh yeah, it has to be made in the U.S.A.

 

Do you have any pics of this? I'm interested in doing this, but I was thinking the heat from the exhaust might be a problem with the composite bed if the truck wasn't wasn't moving.

 

I did not have one on my 2005 Tacoma and the paint just above the tail pipe turned black and no amount of scrubbing would get it off. I put a tip on my 2008 Tacoma and problem solved.

I picked up a stainless one at Advance for about 1/4 of what Toyota wanted for one. It looks the same and so far is lasting very well.

 

rachunter, do you recall the brand, cost, etc?

 

I'm almost positive that I bought it at Advance auto parts but I went to their website and could not find one.

I did have to cut a little off of the tail-pipe to make it fit the way I wanted it too.
