lights look great! I especially like the fact that they seem to have a little blue tint to them, it kinda matches the speedway blue paint

 

Yeah he did a great job. And I love the color too, tiny hint of blue during day but shows up white at night

 

Do the lenses have a blue tint to them or are the bulbs a little bluish in color?

 

Its just the color of the bulb.

I think it took him like 3-4 weeks to get me all of my stuff, but i had a fairly complicated order.

 

two hi/lo 6k h4 kits i just told him i wanted my money back or fix this for me

Cody is very reachable... he reads TW and can communicate via PM here, too. So, don't know why there was an issue with parts.

I went to his place last Sunday and he converted my Hella 4000s to HID... 4300ºK, they were not quite the same as my Kragens (which have a blueish tint)... Cody and someone here on TW said the Kragens look like 6000ºK, so Cody was kind enough to swap the lights... Well, tonight I tested them after they arrived in the mail... and alas, they a much bluer than the Kragens... so switching to 5000ºK. Cody is being most helpful, and I appreciate it!

 

yes i had no problem with him at all, he helped me via texting/pic messaging wire them up (I hate wiring) and all.

Also kragens come in 3 temperatures depending on manufacture date,
4.3,5, and 6k.

 

Seriously? Well, I got my Kragens when they first were being sold at Kragen... late in 2008.

My 2008 Kragens on the outside, and the 6000K Hellas in the middle...




When I had the 4300s in the Hellas the Kragens were a bit bluer... So my guess is my Kragens are 5000K... ??

 

Yeah it goes by like day to day on what bulbs are used. For expanple my pair of kragens. One is a 4.3k matches my fogs perfect. The other is a 6k and is noticeably bluer than my 5k retros.

 

those 6k look really blue too. idk if it's just me but i almost wanna say your Kragens are 4.3k
