I had two emblems on my truck stolen. The door Toyota tacoma emblem and the SR5 on the back door. So now I had to go on ebay and buy a used one. How the hell do i glue it on the truck?? What adhesive do I use for this?

Goop works pretty good. Might need to tape it in place and let it sit overnight but once that stuff cures it's on there.

+1 this is what you want to use. clean the surface with alcohol to get it nice and clean, apply it firmly(best on a warm day but not necessary), and it will stick pretty damn good. lay it on there and trim off the excessive.

3M makes several double stick tapes that we call gorilla tape that has a red protection strip on them. The sticky part is totaly clear. Some of them are over 1/8" & their are some 1/16 " & one that is paper thin. That I use.

I see the OCC boys use the same think on their logs.

    What I used.

After cut out and I used two strips had to trim very little off the bottom and a razor blade on the very edge of the back will make life easy.
