Wait... what happens in october? Maybe I need to buy a few more. :p

Btw nice collection man. Way to be the reason that the atf needs to put "personal collection" clauses into their legalese. Ha ha. I'm about a third of the way to your number. Maybe i'll post my collection soon.

    glock 22 or 23

.40 cal not as weak as a 9mm and not too crazy as a .45, glocks are known for their ease of maintenance, durability and reliability. and it's in the $500 range.

for you i recommend going here http://www.ocindoorrange.com/rentals.upfl

try all of their 9mm handguns or just ones that interest you. they have these for you to choose from in 9mm

    • Glock 17, 17c, 19, 26, 34
    • Springfield XD 9 Compact
    • S&W Sigma
    • CZ 75D Compact
    • Springfiled EMP
    • Beretta 92FS
    • Ruger SR9
    • Beretta PX4 Storm
    • H&K P2000
i would also recommend trying different calibers, personally i like .40 s&w for the reasons in my last post above. local gun stores tell me that .40 s&w is becoming the new 9mm in popularity with LEO.

Beat me to it. Those are all excellent choices for a first handgun. Personally i think a .357 would be the way to go as you can practice with .38's and carry with .357 mags.
It is an absolute must to try several guns to find one that fits your hand and needs.
Unless your a collector, theres nothing worse than buying a gun that you hate to use.

To be honest. I think the Nagant from Tula has to be my fav gun. If you have never shot an original early Nagant or anythng from Tula including early Ak's. you are missing out.

To be fair those arent all "legally" my guns. Becuase i live in the Nazi state of MD, I have some of my guns registered to my dad, some to my brother and even a few under my girlfriend :D All of them are legally registered.
I did however pay for every one of these guns. If i saved half as much money as i spend in guns i'd be in my own house right now.

That's an awesome collection, I'm wanting to buy a Mosin-Nagant from Buds for $109 shipped to me just to have a historical piece in my collection.
