Don't feel ashamed about it.....no matter what. My dad died of cancer, so whenever it comes up, it is accepted. I know my dad and your dog aren't quite the same, but fuk it! It doesn't matter. CRY, BROTHER. Let it out.

I'm so sorry to hear this man. Just know that when she goes, that she will be in a better place watching over you. We all need to go sometime. Her time is just a little earlier then yours. :( But trust me, you will see her again and it will be just like old times weither you live to be 100 or 150.

well...430 this morning my mom and sister rushed her to the vet..Madison was whining and crying and just couldnt get comfortable. When they got to the vet, she couldnt even get out of the car. They brought a stretcher out and wheeled her in. Shes in a better place now, free from pain and her cancer..Its going to haunt me that she wasnt in my arms:(

May you Rest In Peace Madison. We love you. Gone but not forgotten.

So sorry man. At least she is free from any more pain and suffering. I'm sure she has already checked on you and your family since she has passed. I know it's hard but try not to be so sad, she wouldn't want you to be if she were still here. Just remember that you will meet her again and it will be best friends united like lost, long, old times. I wish you and your family the best, don't worry brother, it will all work itself out!

I'm sure since she's in that special place now that she understands why you are crying. Be strong brother, be strong for her. These bad times will pass, I promise. I lost my best friend in Iraq a few years back, he was a medic shot down by an RPG in a black hawk. I understand what you are going through. First anger, then denial, then sadness, after a while, I finally accepted it and this is no bullsh--, i could feel his presence around me whenever I was down. Like he was there watching over me, telling me it would be okay.

Madison is up there drinking from a toilet, chasing butterflies in a field and laying in a sunbeam. Her tail is going nuts because she remembers you and she loves you. You'll see her again. She'll wait.

shes too short to reach the toilet, and she hated squirrels. So shes probably laying in the sun, looking out a window watching for squirrels. :D

Sorry for your loss brother. In time you will feel better, but for now sadness is part of the mourning process.

Take Care and know you did a good thing by showing Madison a life full of love.

Madison, thank you for the companionship and loyalty you gave to our TW friend. You are our friend for life as well. You are gonna be missed.

I had a black Sheltie growing up, and losing her was tough for us. Her name was Velvet.
