17-21: I know everything, parents don't know anything
21-24: I know enough to get by in life
25-27: I think my parents said something about this...
28-30: Yes, they said something... it kinda made sense... maybe
    31-35: Damn... they were right!

"We're all apprentice adults until were 35." Quote from a child development expert... forgot which one. I'll call mom and find out.

36 here and still an "apprentice"! Now I'm the parent that doesn't know anything.

I had to wait a long time before I could afford a vehicle like my Tacoma. When I was a young'n I was driving an old Datsun pickup.

44 and to add to what missleman said about all the youngins with the new trucks,,, this is only my second new vehicle that i have ever been able to purchase. last one was a 93 jeep wrangler. bought that new in 93 and sold it to buy the tacoma. my first car was a 1964 dodge 880 (moms hand me down lol) A big old luxury car that would haul ass! lol

I don't know how young people are buying new expensive vehicles cause I never could but hey more power to ya.

my first car was a hand me down (92 civic, got it in 04 or 05)

drove that till late summer 07 when it crapped out, got my truck in summer 08. i got a great deal on my truck though, maybe thats how i was able to afford it...or maybe it's because my parent helped me pay for it...

    Or both :)

3? Here. Nissan was still a Datsun. Cordless Phones were still at home, my, my parents, first VCR was 300 Pounds, gas was .92 a gallon< I remember when it hit 1.01 a gallon and almost "Freaked OUT". Ron was President, who the hell was Oliver North?, Jim and Tammy were still on the T.V. MTV actually played music. My I-Pod was a walkman that played "TAPES" (Google "TAPES") I had a BITCHIN Everything and Chess King had the best clothes.
