Why don't Demello Off Road bumpers line up with the body lines of the wheel well? Just curious is there is a reason for that. I really like the look of your bumpers except for that fact. I am leaning toward the Relentless bumper because of the way they line up better.

I REALLY love the general overall look of the Demellos better except that one thing.

To be honest, I don't even really notice it when I walk by it to get in my truck.

Can you post a pic of your bumper on your truck from a front/top kinda angled view. I have a large gap in between my grille and bumper and I dont think it looks right. Just checkn to see if yours is the same way

I think the 2011 might be different then the ones he fiited the bumper to. My gap looks larger then the rest. There are four bolts that came witht he kit that I didnt use because my bolts are connected to the frame, not removable and replaceable with the bolts provided.

Interesting, mine is '10 and I used all the bolts that were given to me with the bumper. I have about the same amount of gap you do.

I HAVE THE SAME GAP. I THINK THE GAP IS FOR ANY ACCIDENTAL HIT. THIS WAY THE BUMPER DOESNT CRUSH THE LIGHTS OR THAT THIN METAL FRAME THAT HOLDS THE HEADLIGHTS. THAT JUST MY OPINION. I JUST GET USE TO IT. WAITING TO GET A WINCH SOON.

P.S. I'M NOT SURE HOW TO UPLOAD PICS. PLEASE HELP..

To be honest I don't know we built it, made a few changes and liked the way it lined up. This is good feed back maybe we can change those lines on the next one.

The gap is because we noticed that the frame and body on the Tacoma have an extreme amount of flex from each other. We built a few that were closer and they rubbed when you take them off road. We could lesson the gap on the next batch but I'm a little concerned it will rub offroad.

    A few bolts are different.
Even with that amount of space my ARB barley rubs on my DCLB. Maybe the body on them flexes just a little more??

I like the way the Domello bumper does not line up exactly. Makes it look more utilitarian.

I had to grind down my frame a bit as well but still couldn't get that support bracket on. It looks like I will have to grind into the bumper to get it on.

Did u grind into the bumper at all?
