I work for the government... every day I go to work is a struggle. And with this gay leave system we are on, there is no such thing as just "taking a day off". Its bullshit, trust me I know

FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN JOINING BEN AND MYSELF IN THE GRAVELLY RANGE THIS WEEKEND....
We are meeting up at 10-1030 at Henry's Lake ID (blue X on map). I will be leaving Belgrade around 8am...and stopping to gas up in Ennis around 9 at the Rocky Mtn Supply/Cenex on the northside of town.
If you would like to join us but can't make it that early you can try to track us down in the Gravellys.
    Henry's Lake meeting location...
    http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q14/springli13/screen-capture-21.png

The fastest way to get there (dark green line on map):

From Ennis head SOUTH ON HWY 287 for approx 18 MILES.
Take a right turn off the highway at the MCATEE BRIDGE FISHING ACCESS.
Go straight over the bridge and up the hill (DO NOT TURN LEFT/SOUTH towards the fishing access site). I only mention the site because that is the best way to ID the turnoff from the highway.
You will come up to a small mining site. There is a road saying 'PUBLIC ACCESS and JOHNNY GULCH, GRAVELLY RANGE', TURN LEFT HERE.
The road will wind around the mine site and then there is a fork, TAKE ANOTHER LEFT.
You are now on FS rd 324
Continue on and GO LEFT at the JOHNNY RIDGE/JOHNNY GULCH fork
    [IMG]
This road will tie into the Gravelly range road (fs 290), GO SOUTH towards the CLOVER MEADOWS CAMP

total distance from 287 to the Gravelly Range Rd is approximately 16 miles. Its a decent road, should take no more than 40 minutes to drive this stretch.

If you are coming up late Saturday I am hoping to camp in the vicinity of Black Butte and the intersection of the Gravelly Rd, Cottonwood Crk Rd and Black Butte Cabin Rd (red circle on map). This intersection is about 12 miles from the Clover Meadows Camp (dark green X on map). There are several dispersed campsites throughout the area so keep your eyes peeled.

If you are coming up early Sunday, we will be out exploring for the morning and I plan on heading in the general direction of home in the early afternoon. My plan is to leave camp around no later than 9 and head towards the Clover Meadows Camp so we should run into you one way or another.

Sort of a cheesy map but you get the idea....

I like both the full wrap bumper and the standard...my main issue for liking the standard better is price. I think I'll be able to pay for the standard bumper, w/the add-ons I want, in full, with the insurance money. IDK, we'll see...

...and I sit here at work thinking about Ben, Lisa, and gang wheeling the Gravelly, Tony hanging out with Rich and the MT 4x4 folks, and Colton touching himself in his latex spiderman suit (ooh, that last one made me throw up a little)...this sucks major donkey balls. :pout:

awww come on, you can save a lil cash and throw down for the wrap around. It'll be so worth it.

And i have to MAJORLY agreed with that last statement..i wish i was there! Especially now that i have my rear shocks on..
