    I got about 200 miles on my truck and some time today. I was wondering if I need to break in my engine a bit before I put it on? If not I am going to install it today.

    yeah its step one in the instructions. Did the install this afternoon. Started up fine.

    Why do you need to diconnect the Battery cable if you are not doing electrical work on the truck/

    So I should have done it when I installed my exhaust? I thought it was a safety thing. I do electrical work so I am in that frame of mind, I was not touching any wires why do I need to pull the power supply. Well I guess I have something to do at work during lunch tomorrow.

    getting there....
    for the exhaust...its really not necessary, since there arent any sensors after the exhaust. its not totally necessary for an intake either, as the engine computer will relearn the new mix.,......but disconnecting the battery cable speeds up the process.
