SORRY, I AM NO LONGER SELLING THESE KITS

Who wants to turn their rear sliding window into a powered slider?!

You can do it with this power regulator kit...

Never worry ever again about having to pull over on the side of the highway to get out and open or close that rear slider by hand!! :D

Kit includes everything you need to complete the install including:
    • Power window regulator assembly
    • Window pull-pull bracket
    • Motor mounting hardware
    • Mini add-a-circuit w/ 10 A fuse
    • Spool of 18 awg hookup wire and quick disconnects
    • 2-way power window rocker switch
    • Installation manual

    switch-1_f5598f5d82bf07a99bbd936d330321e35b987f7e.jpg

Here's what the switch looks like when installed in recommended location -- the side-to-side orientation matches window motion, and it can be easily reached by a passenger:

Sorry, not currently selling these kits due to lack of spare time to dedicate to this venture

You are welcome to try to build your own kit or help other members build one, but please respect my intellectual property and don't attempt to recreate my kit to sell for profit.

Installing this kit will not comprimise the security or weather-tightness of your rear sliding window.
    • For those with aftermarket subwoofer boxes behind their rear seats wondering if the kit will work without the stock plastic storage cubby/cover, the motor has a 1-5/8" mounting depth and can be mounted directly to many sub box and amp rack setups.
    • Expect installation to take bewteen 4-5 hours, depending on your confidence level with tools and mechanical inclination.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: your sliding window must be in good working order prior to purchasing and installing this kit. I.e., it must slide smoothly and easily with no excessive friction, weatherstripping must be in good condition, and it is highly recommended that you do not have any window stickers on the sliding window glass. If you have any problems with your slider, please make repairs prior to ordering a kit to ensure that the powered mod will function optimally.

The actuator looks like it will fit behind the panel of the access cabs.

    Nice job!

I think it will, but the only other question is if / how much the top of the seat back needs to be trimmed to accommodate the regulator track that mounts to the window frame.

Yes. Installation essentially consists of drilling two holes in the window frame to mount the regulator track, then glue the window bracket to the sliding window, then mount the motor to the storage cubby (or aftermarket subwoofer box, as the case may be), then wire it up and install the switch in the dash. IMO, the hardest part of the install is cutting the hole in the dash for the switch, and that only took me 20 minutes.

The motor/regulator assembly is a brand new part from a parts distributor.

Wow, lots of Access Cab interest -- who would have thunk. :p Maybe its a classic case of you want what you cant have? :D

Any Seattle locals want to be an Access Cab window mod guinea pig?

A note about switches that can be used with this power window mod kit.

This 2-way rocker switch is included with the window kit:

    switch-1_f5598f5d82bf07a99bbd936d330321e35b987f7e.jpg

Any number of other 2-way rocker switches can be used with the kit instead of this switch. If you would like to purchase your own switch from another source, I can omit the included switch from the kit and deduct $12 from the kit price. Please advise at the time of your order if you would like to buy your own switch from another source.

NOTE: if you purchase your own switch, it must be rated at 12 Amps or greater.

Here are some alternatives that would work great:

    Toyota OEM switches:

    Tundra sliding window switch:

    Sienna rear vent switch:

    attachment_2a2fd7fbf455e8f4984c0002fb92a74781be0456.jpg

    Tundra down-sliding window switch:

    FogLightSwitch037_c418f2b4c4df3775cb6932eb80bef2e443b65a6e.jpg

    4Runner down-sliding window switch:

Here's a non-Toyota switch that is much more affordable than any of the Toyota switches:
