    What are the cheapest skids?

What are the most expensive skids?

What are the best bang-for-the-buck skids?

Also, please post prices if you know them. Also if you know of any package deals, etc...

i.e. front skid, center skid, fuel tank skid, front & rear diff skids...

I like the OEM plate. Not the toughest on the market but works great for me! ;)

Budbuilt has a complete set for $700.

From what I've heard and seen, they are superior to all pros.

Mine are modified to work with the differential drop. He also offers a gas tank skid that I'm not using.

Damn $700!!! The thing with the Budbuilt ones is that they are heavier. I actually am looking at the Allpro since they are cheaper and weigh a bit less. In addition I am not going to be doing anything overly aggressive like driving off cliff or anything.:D I am also thinking about calling around to see if I can get some skids made locally, not sure if it would be cheaper.

Would just like to add a bit of info here!

From All Pros website, their skids are $269, $329 and $99 to cover the part of the truck that our first 4 pieces do. That is $697 for the 3 pieces. Ours are $700 for the 4 pieces. If you saw both sets in real life, I think you would think the $3 difference would be well worth it! :)

Just a note too, if you are concerned about weight, we do offer them in 1/8" steel, instead of our normal 3/16" steel. You can bend them if you land the truck on them but they are great for the hunter or fisherman who wants total protection without the extra weight of a full on rock crawling set. :) They are $600 for the 4 pieces too.

Also, for those with a diff drop: Most diff drop kits come with spacers to space your skids down, so you don't need the square boxes that MJP2 has. The front edge of our skids have extra holes in them so they will work with either setup. :)

We'll have more pics of these skids on our new site soon.

And as always, if you have any questions, just call or email!
    Thanks!
    Bud :)

That BudBuilt skid looks frekin sweet!! Just one question how does it hold up against water? It looks to be raw, just wondering cuz some of us happen to hit the mud up too, and don't get the best cleaning on top of the skid. Besides that it looks like Obamas new limo, Impenetrable!!
