were should i look to purchase some new gears and learn more about what gears work best for my tire size. I don't know much about it, but am very capable to learn. just need help.

thanks man. so find a local guy, what about the actual gear ratio? what gear ratio would you run for a 6" lift with 35x12.5 mud tires? I figured stay away from the toyota stealership. those asses wouldn even help me figure out if it was LSD or not. So that is still unknown to me. needed to know for sure, so I could change fluid. Maybe that also contributed. No fluid change in rear, maybe never. 95,000 miles. fuck me right.

if you have a TRD Sport you have a LSD (there should be a sticker staying use only LSD additive fluid) or if you have a TRD Offroad you have the factory E-Locker
