    So first 2 days of college down..its gonna be weird since I'm in a restricted program and with a lot of people that have no prior experience in LE. I feel like I'm gonna have to be helping a number of them.

    But there is always that one bro/douchebag/asshat type of guy...why does there always have to be that guy everywhere? Today he was talking about trying to flip ambulances and that since he has never been able to flip one that he'll have a hard time flipping a patrol car at 90+...and yesterday he was saying that in four years of EMS work (no LE) he's been shot at numerous times...EMS members, please clue me in on why you guys get shot at.

    We got shot at very rarely for the most part. If he was in the ghetto of Chicago or NYC I can maybe believe him but doubtful. Most ambulances don't really go faster than 80 and newer ones have governors.

    His quote was "Most ambulances come with a 3 in lift kit so that makes them even more of a high center of gravity vehicle." Well yes they do, but they are also built to be low center of gravity so they don't tip...patrol cars are not built that way, and I have driven a patrol car and know how they handle. I hope he doesn't flip in the academy....but what he does after if IF he gets a job...that's when he's gonna flip the car.

    He's an idiot and doesn't belong on an ambulance. Any vehicle can flip under the right circumstances. With his wreckless driving he doesn't deserve to be an EMT or medic.
