Shock suggestions.

I just replaced my broken stock springs with a pair of Northwest Off Road's 2" lift heavy duty springs. Part # N735602H Looking for suggestions on what shocks will work. Don't run off road much but I do tow and carry loads in the bed at times. Any over the counter suggestions or cross reference help on what would fit? Thanks in advance.

 

From what I have read it looks like you only gained 3/4 of an inch, correct? So it's still within somewhat of a stock shock limit.
I would just go with a replacement shock either Billstien or maybe an OME non lifted shock.
If you carry a payload or tow like you suggest, a stocker (no lift) shock should still do the trick.

 

Thanks for the quick reply. My stock shocks do not reach the mounting brackets. About 1.5" short fully extended. I picked up probably 2" over the stock springs. Didn't think the shocks would be a problem either but I picked up more lift than anticipated. So my truck is sitting waiting for shocks. So something over the counter would get me back on the road quick.

 

OME, but over the counter might be an issue. The only shock I can think of that would be in stock at a store for a lifted applicatiion would be a Rancho or a Pro Comp.

 

The Bilstein 5100's seem to be very popular among the TW guys here, I installed them on my truck and I'm pretty happy with them
