Well definitely let me know if you need a hand with any of it.

I ended up picking up the rims. The salesperson was really pushy so I gave in.lol

Should be stopping by to see Dave one night this week after work for the mount and balance. Now to just decide if I want to get the straps for the TPMS sensors or build the little pvc pipe housing. Leaning towards the pvc pipe. Anyone have input on this?

Also still kicking around the raised white letters or blackwalls out. Leaning towards blackwalls. This will be the first time on either Taco I've had that I don't have the white letters out. Just a pain to keep clean.

Whats up guys I'm somewhat new to Tacoma World, I've been lurking around TW for some time now posting comments here and there but want to try and meet some "locals" to South Jersey area. I currently have a 2006 Tacoma Off-road Access Cab 4x4 and all I can think about is "modding" it. I currently have a 3" spacer lift with add-a-leafs in the rear (yeah I know it sucks, hopefully its temporary) and a Viper alarm with remote start and a few other minor mods. I recently ordered some 295/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers with 17" XD Revolvers (Matte Black) which I'm hoping to get sometime this week. Let me know what you guys think of them, once I get them mounted I'll post some pictures! I also have an order from Slimcubby HIDs Group Buy (6000k) for my headlights and fogs lights that should also be delivered soon. My next purchase in the near future will be a navigation double din head unit but haven't exactly decided what one to go with (opinions welcomed). I guess what I'm looking for is to meet up with some of you TW people in the surrounding area to do some mods, cleaning or just to hang out with and talk about our Tacomas! I live in South Jersey (Cape May County) and started to try and do the anytime locker mod but got scared once I had my glove box out and saw all the wires. I would love to meet up with someone to give me a hand, I have everything needed but am reluctant to cut or splice any wires until I know exactly what I'm doing.

I am more than happy to host a mod day as I have a 3 car garage with many of the necessay tools including power tools and a great work area. The only problem I have right now is that I am working two jobs during the weekend so weekdays are better for me (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). If any one is interested let me know as I always enjoy meeting new people especially if they own Tacoma's. Here's a few pictures of the rims and tires I purchased, I'm hoping to get them on Wednesday. Thanks, and any feedback is much welcomed!

    Brendan

There's alot of great guys on the forum, especially the ones from jersey! Sounds like you're off to a nice start on the truck, and this site will surely push you over the edge if you're debating on mods.

I have the slimcubby HIDs and have done the locker anytime mod on my truck, I'd be more than willing to help you hack into your ECU [IMG]

Yea and I've been hesitant to attempt it. Would've liked to do it at a mod day with someone who had done it already.

Should've told me that on Saturday! I've been thinking about getting rid of mine

do the other side before it siezes....do it before you get an alingment and you wont have to worry about marking the adjustment cam.......

all you do is remove the lca bolt , remove alingment cams and pull out the adjustment cam sub assembly

Idk.. I guess I'll have to pull them apart when I get the truck back from the dealer. What do you put on them? Just anti seize or some grease?

And what actually seizes up? The sub assembly against the busting or the bolt inside the assembly? Why aren't there any threads on how to do this?
