    I just want to make sure everyone is still in there comfort level. The washout wasn't to bad but there is one big rock coming out of Lava that I am a bit concerned with. I have a few pics but I do have a video of this rock but have no clue on how to post it.

    Does that sign say the trail is closed due to wildlife security?

    that is what the sign says but right underneith it there a date.

    Does anyone out there know how to do this video thing? Can I send the video to someone?

    If that trail gets any worse that what we saw in June I don't think I will be taking my truck on it...I was way over my comfort level in a few spots on that trip. Its not worth it to me to risk any damage.

    And the trail that we hit in June has not got any worse, we actually hit it from the other direction yesterday...

    Is the entrance to Lava typical of all 7 miles of the trail or is that the worst of it.

    That would be the end of the trail and that is the worst part...Got another video of rock creek but I might have to wait to get home to post it..

    Not nervous about it at all Ben. I know that many times the entrance can be the most difficult. Sometimes entrances are left that way on purpose, to discourage subaru's from attempting it. :rolleyes: I also know that if Lava were to be just like that throughout, it would take all day to do 7 miles.
