    If you have the proper tools, it is not that hard. The cassette requires a special wrench. Do yourself a favor, and do your high and low derailleur alignments before you put your chain on. It will save you the most time. Then you have to find the correct cable tension. If you get that far, you should be able to tweak it yourself.

    If you plan on doing all of your own maintenance, get this. I have built several bikes from the frame up and hit this up for pointers as I went.

    well hell, that sounds complicated! haha I dont have the cassette wrench and I have no idea on how to adjust the derailleurs. I think i'd be better off just taking it to the shop and let them do all of it...

    what do you guys think of upgraded my fork to a rock shox recon? it would probably be the u-turn which has adjustable travel 85-130mm. im not sure about lock-out or that other stuff but the guy at the bike shop recommended that one or the reba

    im a noob but I love the lock out option on my fork. I keep it locked when I ride around the neighborhood or when I have my kid on the back.

    have it and really like it. BIG difference compared to the stock. Get it, you will be glad you did. :)
