No I didn't do any of that, I figured it wasn't worth getting upset over. He isn't good with feelings/emotions/gifts etc and I knew that, I know he cares about me, that is enough.
But this year I'll kick him in the nads and withhold sex ;). Maybe I should give him a little help and hint about getting me something and making up for last year?

my hint worked, left a catalog open on the desk when I left for work... today he said to pick something I like, cause he doesn't know what I'd like ;)...I don't want to pick my gift, so I'll show him a few things I like and let him choose one for me.

Probably nothing? We aren't much for the "spending" holidays (barring x-mas). We usually forget, and it's just another day. His birthday is about two weeks after anyway, and I wouldn't know what to get him for that either! lol! Since it happens to be a Saturday, we'll probably just do "it" as usual and call it square! LOL!

Last year I took a picture of a card with my phone and read it to her while at the store. I put the card back and told her I saved $3.75. She was still laughing when I got home.

Valentine's is a waste and she agrees...greatest woman in the world. I do keep some real nice dark chocolate stocked for her year round and she gets flowers and hand written letters an average of once a month.

Both of our Birthdays and our 12th anniversary are all next week so we splurge every year and get something for the family. This year it's a 47" HDTV. Even with the economy in the toilet we had a great year last year so we are spending a little more on ourselves. I get a new table saw and she gets a new sewing machine (which is 3x the cost of the saw so don't think she gets the shaft)

I asked by someone "what are we doing for valentine's day?" and when I told her "nothing" she said "good" so what are we doing? "NOTHING" :):D
