I was in Denver over the weekend. And at the toytec customer day on Saturday, they had a few raffles going. I was given 3 tickets for the multi-prize free raffle. As I wasn't able to stay very long, and thought it was a "must be preset to win" kind of thing, I only filled out 1 ticket and gave the other 2 back..

Well, I just got a phone call from Chris at Toytec.. I won a set of front Bilstien 5100 shocks! I did however have to pay shipping, as I was supposed to swing by and pick them up.

    These ones: [IMG]

Which brings me to my question. I currently have the OME 90004 front shocks (pictured below). Now, I would like to hear from those that have the 5100 up front.. do you like the ride? Is it worth it for me to change these out and sell the OME? Or, should I just sell these brand new 5100's?

I have heard mixed opinions on OME vs Bilstien, and I will most likely get more of that here.

Heres the OME shocks that I have: [IMG]

    Oh and one more thing..

    THANKS TOYTEC LIFTS!!!! :thanks:
:bananadance: :woot: :drunk: :oldglory: :rockband: :goingcrazy: :humble: :yay:

What coils are you running? If I had to do it all over again I would get the nitrochargers

A member on here switch 5100s for 90004sa and was happier with the way they mated the ome coils. But with the 5100 u can change settings and get more lift.

Ive had them a little over a year. Im fine with the amount of lift I have now, so the adjust ability is not a concern.

there very similar from what ive read and seen...i like my 5100's and i liked the way a truck rode with the ome also....if your happy with your current setup then sell the new 5100 and get something u need...you'll get alot more money for new product then ur used ome.... and alot more people will buy 5100's cause they can adjust the height with them....

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The Billies need to stay on the 0" setting with the OME coils otherwise you end up with more than 3" of lift on 1st gens since they only have 3 settings..

First of all, these are 1st gen 5100's guys. So all you guys with 2nd gens, stop PM'ing me!

Can I turn this into a for sale thread? lol

180+15 shipping=195 total.. That is equivalent to a 10% discount from toytec (the forum discount is 5%). PM me if you want em!

Btw it will be a few days before they even get to me, so it may be more than a week before you see them.
