Ya I knew mjp2 had the SUA, was fishing around to see if more members had it. Just came across a build thread on TTORA, kid 4 linked the rear...freaking nice looking setup thats pulling a lot of travel.

Wow several near misses there; really good thing those two crawlers were parked there. I'd say they need to put some K-rails up, but those things will crawl right over a K-rail.

I wonder if it was mechanical or if the driver was knocked out.

    mjp2,

What did Giant say about the rubbing? What kind of leaf pack are you running?

Didn't call them about it as my use tends to be outside the norm. I'm just going to swap the thing out.

The leafs are the Deavers that come delivered with the kit from Giant.

I've spoken with Tim at DMZ. I'm going to run his rear with some Deavers set up to Tim's specs but modified to account for the weight of my truck.

Didn't notice it outside of racing. I gave my truck a thorough once-over after Primm last year and noticed the clearance issues at that time.

^ x2 . but the baja bushings are crap for anything outside of normal use. they use a 3/4" uniball and they dont last worth a crap . use the deaver bushings on the spring front and rear . then delrin in the shackle pivot at the frame. dont use delrin in the spring eyes, the springs need to flex a little

if ur gonna go dmz sua , make sure you gusset the crap out of the rear shackle buckets and use delrin in the shackle pivot with 3/4" bolts. we go through shackle bushings about halfway through every race. < this is my fix , well see how it holds up at ridgecrest!

hey guys i have yet to test out my spot lights in the desert but on the street if i turn them on they vibrate alot and it can be seen on the road, i tightened them as much as possible and asked around and some people said the bumper is just not strong enough but i was thinking of putting a piece of rubber between the light tab and light to try and eliminate vibration, pretty much a small bushing of some sort but what do you guys think?
