Ive noticed that the bumpers on the 12's rise up a little in the middle while ours go down a hair, anyone that has installed an aftermarket bumper see this change as a problem?

Maybe the headlights wont look so ugly if they were BHLM'd, and the grill was satoshi'd

I was wondering the same thing. It looks like they will either have a gap or they'll have to redesign the aftermarket bumpers to accommodate it.

yeah, just raise the center piece of it to get rid of the gap. I'm kind of contemplating an '11 now. Can someone photoshop larry's relentless bumper on the 2012 so we can see what the new grill looks like with armor?

It really is growing on me. I actually like the grill. I'm thinking a set of xd Cranks are going to look really good on this

The wheels in the video are probably not final and can change any time in the middle of the year. In fact the current "state of the art" wheels are the TRD fake beadlocks on the TX|Pro, which represents the highest trim level.

It won't be that bad. There is a stamped steel crossbrace that connects the bottom corners of the headlights and provides a locating hole for the grille. That brace is probably still there. I think the worst we'll see is a slit open between the grille and the bumper, no bigger than the existing slits in the grille itself.

The turn signals on the mirrors were missing in the video.

    Is it really legit?

    Who knows at this point.

Most of those shots were of older model Tacoma's adding some fluff to the few shots of the new one.

The "leaked" spec said that the turn signals on the mirror would be on the TRD Sport. The one in the video is the TRD Off Road.

Guys, I got confirmation that that is the truck.

The chrome grille comes on the SR5 and TRD offroad.
TRD sport comes with color keyed door handles, mirrors and bumper.

It does have a chrome grill, you are probably looking at the photoshopped picture that was posted on this thread.

if this is it, I'm really bummed. Its basically the same truck.

To me, this would mean a major redesign in the next few years. at some point I would assume, toyota is going to drop in the dual vvti. Frick, I might have to wait EVEN LONGER. Lame toyota, LAME......

I can't imagine they will do it before 2014.

However, another way to look at it, is given that they didn't do a whole lot to this one...it wouldn't be as big of a waste to only use this look for a year and then release a complete redesign in 2013...

    Who really knows, though...
