    Yeah thats what I thought, at least thats what the teacher said today that if you do a lot of macro that those are nice. Wasn't real sure if it could be used for other stuff or would it be a waste if it wasn't a macro shot?

    i have the Canon version... i don't use it often, but it has a good even light and is easy to go mobile when shooting without permits and need to shoot guerilla style out on the streets...

    the only shot i used additional light for was the girl against the brown door...

    we shot that one at the inside entrance to one of the clubs at Hollywood/Highland in Hollywood and it was at 2pm so i had to kill the ambient light and flood it with 500 more watts of light...
