    I have searched and not found much for pics of the trimming required to fit 285/70/17's with a 3 inch lift. Can somebody please post pics of exactly what you had to trim? Preferably a close up and and a not-so close up so I can really get an idea of where to trim! My new wheels/tires are getting mounted up tomorrow and I wanted to get the trimming out of the way before I went to the shop! Thanks!

    MY opinion is to wait until you bring it home. Take your time coming home then when in the area check for yourself (not being a smart A^*) Mark the area then trim.

    Yeah, I considered doing this too. I was just concerned that I would rip the fender off or something! haha I guess I am just unsure of how much it's really going to rub. Is it just enough to make noise and be annoying, or enough to do damage?

    You probably won't run into real issues until you flex the suspension so the drive home should be fine. Just stay on the road. ;)
