Didn't realize my sr5 4x4 had a LSD rear diff until I crawled under to change fluid. Really seems quite beneficial in several light off-roading situations as well.....other than that not much because as mentioned earlier I too have lusted for several years for a second gen probably since I first spotted one in late 04.

 

no... its because you are a cocky asshole. I can't seem to source a hilux scoop from the U.K. so its on the back burner for now.

I bought my 2009 in July 2008 and the dealer never told me I had a back up camera in my mirror. That was a great surprise after I had bought it and put it in reverse to leave the lot

 

I read my manual. But things that I learned afterwords (mostly via this forum) was the seatbelt chime disable, that a small hydraulic jack will fit in the stock jack location on a DC, the largest size tire that I can fit without a lift/trimming, and the extra leaf thing with Canadian models.

 

It pissed me off to learn that the "Limited Slip Differential" was a purely electronic gadget, and not available in 4 lo.

'sOK, though, I installed an ARB.

 

I can still close the windows after I shut off the truck!

 

but the second someone opens a door that power goes away!!!! that pissed me off the first time it happened, had to put the keys back in and roll the windows up

 

With the door/s open and key in the ignition, the doors wont lock. Thanks to some nerd... saved my ass once already

I didn't know mine came with a key fob (or the wireless lock thingy you keep on your keychain, whatever that thing is called) until about a month after I bought it.

My buddy was looking for my ipod cord in the glovebox while I was driving and he pulled out a bag with two of them in it and I freaked the fuck out.

I can roll my windows up or down anytime.

 

I didn't know that my hood scoop could/would cause so much glare that I might run into that tractor trailer that I couldn't see anyway do the the sheer size of the scoop.

 

Isn't there a yellow wire mod to correct this?

No amount of wires will turn an open diff using computer controlled braking to simulate the effects of an LSD into a mechanical limited slip differential.
