I think any new vehicle is going to give you some grief. We have bought three new vehicles in the last two years and they have all had some annoyance or another including our recently purchased taco.

I am with you, storytime: I work in the concrete industry, two years ago the company I work for bought 18 brand new concrete mixer trucks, 2.2 million dollars worth, as of this writing, 50 % of the trucks have $25,000 or more in repairs bills, and all of them are in the shop for all sorts of problems, so it really doesn't matter how much you spend, or what you buy, sometimes it's all bad. I think it's a safer bet to purchase a Toyota than other brands. Do your homework, get the best deal you can, buy an additional warranty if you want, and Drive on. :playball:

I see this question on alot of other sites. Its just soo sad that after 3 years people have to ask this. I would love to go to work for toyota and go through all these boards and bring the problems to toyota technicians and find a fix. I think just by doing this they would see a significant jump in their sales and people's general opinion improve of what they think of toyota.

I like this thread, it gives everyone who has had NO problems a chance to speak up. I am at close to 4,000 miles with my '07 and have had no problems.

Got an 08 4x4 DC Sports with 400+ miles. No problem so far and hopefully none in the future. I just love the smooth ride, good acceleration, and handling. That's after stepping away from an '06 Ford F150 4x4...

I still don't know what the OP is talking about. What leaks? What vibration? What acceleration problems? Hell, the only "acceleration problems" my truck has is that it's too fast for all the Frontiers on the road.

Sorry...no problems here as well and I bought it back in Nov. You must have this mistaken this for a Ford forum...

My 08 DC OR TP 4x4 has about 3K on it now, got it back in November. No problems whatsoever so far. One of the most comfortable vehicles I have ever driven. :)
