    That what hands are for. And if you're parking in a spot so narrow you have to pull in your mirrors, then how the hell do you open the door with enough clearance to get out? Sure it's great for street parking so they don't get clipped, but mirrors are like cats whiskers... if you need to pull them in, that spots not for you.

    There is less driver legroom in the 4runner, aside from that the interior is roomier and much nicer than the Taco.
    I saw the posted video and do not see too much of a difference from the 11 and would have preferred more of the meatier 4runner look.

    well since a lot of parking stalls in a lot of areas where I live are getting narrower, you'd be passing up a lot of parking opportunities. My previous tenant had a hard time getting his truck parked in the garage without folding in at least one mirror. There is a market for this feature and even some higher end Sequoias and Lexus vehicles came with this option. So you don't like the product. Move on then.

    If someone can photoshop better than me, PLEASE do. I just replaced the red with white...but it didn't come out as nicely as I expected it to.

    Edit: it looks nice as a thumbnail :rofl:

    From the leaks, I like the 2012, but if Toyota offers any incentives like Nissan has on the Frontier right now ($3000 cash back) for 2011's I will strongly consider it.

    Also, I seem to be getting conflicting information... Can you get the 6 speed manual with a DC TRD Sport? I have always driven a stick, and would prefer to stay with it as traffic to and from work is pretty limited.

    @woodygg

    Any info back from your source(s) at Toyota regarding an updated V6 (dual VVT-i)?

    If you read the article from pickuptrucks.com there is a link to an older article regarding the 2012 Tacoma. They seem to think new engines are on the way just not when the truck debuts. Article "We're also expecting new engines for the Tacoma, but they won't arrive when the updated truck debuts."

    You can get a 6 speed manual with the short bed DC Sport. Long beds only have autos :(

    I think the hood scoop will stay the same, someone photoshopped that picture earlier in the thread.
