TC UCA Home made uniball seal?

    I thought I read here somewhere that someone made homemade uniball seals for the TC UCAs out of PVC end caps.... Does anyone have pics or insight into doing this? Do they really need to be sealed? I live in Maine...so I got the stainless steal uniball option.

    i may just keep a clean rag and some compressed air in a can in my truck, and just clean them off from time to time

    Ne reason to "seal" them. If you made a cover for the top, the bottom would still be exposed.
