    Not the style of sway bar you are thinking of. The ones troophy tucks use. Most of the time they go off the back of the axle to the rear of the truck

    In regards to this kit: http://giantmotorsports.com/content/view/89/109/

    From Geoff at Giant:

    Con from the DDL kit to 64” kit;
    Cost $1800. more
    Takes longer to mount

    Pro from the DDL kit to 64” kit;
    Way out performs
    More reliable
    Less sway
    Saves more bed space

    Here are the prices;
    $3500 DDL kit
    $1275 2.5 King coilover shocks
    $1800 bed cage
    $1200 installed

    The gas tank and bed can remain, bed sides are needed.

    What I emailed him:

    I have a 08 Tacoma and have been researching the option of linking the rear. What are the pros and cons of this rather than going the SUA route?

    I saw the DD link you have and saw it said it can be retro fitted to work with late model Tacoma's. What would we be talking cost wise for this, with the proper shocks and a bedcage including install?

    With your kit would the gas tank be able to stay were it is or would it have to be relocated?

    Look at what I just posted....retains the gas tank in place (for the 2nd gen guys). Also look at the design of the kit..

    Correct, but it's an odd 3-link. It's got 2 lower links and a track bar. Geoff has some funky connections at the rear of the lower links to prevent axle wrap.

    Is it a radius arm setup?

    More or less, but the mounts wrap around the rear of the axle with some King dampers or something of the sort. Definitely unique relative to anything else I've seen.

    you're thinking of spindle travel. He's talking about suspension travel.

    My kit that pulls 15" of spindle travel uses a 8" travel shock. TC, camburg all use 8" travel shocks.

    That really depends on how you set up the coilovers and if you run a sway bar or not

    ok, there are seriously maybe 2 or 3 people on this entire site that could benifit from linking their trucks.

    any shop that is responsible and knows what they shit they are doing will dont link a truck without the truck being caged... correctly.

    i know what it's like to get the "what if..." thoughts going on... we all do that, but links are an entirely different world that SUA...

    there are plenty race trucks that are not linked and perform great. do you really need a linked trucks that is a DD and see's pavement 80-90% of the time it's driven???

    until your truck is built like this... you have no need for links

    deaver or 50T SUA leafs, double or triple bypass 2.5" shock and air bumps will be more than enough
