If she was going 3MPH I would say that would be pushing it. The first time was the worst, she cracked the black cover for my reverse light. I would say she was in her mid to late 60's. She was so upset, it broke the headlight on her car pretty good. I didn't bother to call the cops. The second time was less than that, just got a bump, nothing done to either car, this time a woman said her foot came off and slipped and she hit me. Like I said it was less than 3mph but her car got so much damage. I guess because she was in a Honda civic, with a really nice aftermarket stick on hood scoop by the way, and my truck, even at stock height is , well, a truck, she busted the crap out of her car. I don't know what an entire honda civic headlight assembly costs, but I am sure it's not cheap. I made sure she was ok, which she was, I was fine, just kind of laughing on the inside at her car, she did ask me not to call the police snd offered me her information, I said you got the worst of this deal and called it a night. Keep in mind my chrome bumper has some serious rust issues so no wories, and it was the softest impact even possible, so why get the cops involved, right. Good Karma good Karma !!! I was really more impressed with the strength of a steel bumper, factory even. Ha ha thats my story for the night. One more thing, I know some would not be so understanding to any sort of accident, but in my mind, even though I have an older truck that I plan on keeping forever, I don't want many police reports stating accidents on a car fax type report. At least thats the way I see it.

SORRY, each time was a different person- different event. I am more pleased my truck was ok, no one was hurt and my truck made it out with only, in total $15 bucks damage to the black plastic cover, which I have already glued together.

No need to get the police involved if it isn't necessary and both parties agree. Glad no one was hurt and sounds like your truck is pretty solid. I had a guy rear end me in my 2003 Tacoma, and he totaled his dodge neon. I felt bad, but it was his fault, and I got a new bumper out of it...

I've been hit a total of 4 times now. Kinda like all yours... none did any damage. 2 have been by girls in the high school parking lot (1 of which was hard enough to get us stuck together and I drug her in a circle until my hitch finally popped loose after doing a number on her bumper) Once I was parked and a kid scraped along the side of my bumper. Not a scratch on mine but the edge of my bumper had a big curl of his paint on it. The stupidest one was in a car wash... dumb lady in front of me decided it was necessary to keep riding her brakes on the conveyor belt and popped off, so I hit her which knocked me off and then I got rear ended, still no damage.

My rear bumper has saved me so many times... Of course it decides to fail when I jackknife a trailer on it. 4 fender benders and the only damage is from me. Oh well

Glad your bumper is equally tough OP... may all your wrecks be as harmless as these have been :)

I've been "hit" atleast 5 or 6 times now. No damage aside from scratches.

I did have a drunk girl hit the back of my truck, have her grill get wedged on my trailer hitch, and then drove off without said grill. Bitch gave me the finger when I got outta my truck and hauled ass away. I LOL'd when I noticed her grill hanging from my hitch 20 minutes later.

Who else got a good LOL at that?

So far I have had one accident with my Taco, I went into work one day with a perfect truck then came out of work after a twelve hour shift with a big ass dent in my bumper and paint chipping off my cab were it looks like the bed hit the cab. So some bigger truck with a tow hitch hit me at a good rate of speed or lack of reaction time. And since I wasnt on the spot when it happened and our parking lot has no cameras the Secruity Forces in all of their infant wisdom said there was no way to prove it happened on base and they wont file a claim........asshats.
