So about 4 days ago I started to get sick, yesterday I was over it all but my throat was hurting (too much deep throating lololololol jp) and I was talking a lot and all that fun shit. Last night me and my friends went out to Castro Valley to Pyzanos for calzones (if you're ever near Castro Valley, CA; go to Pyzanos Pizzeria and get a calzone it's so worth the time and $10) and my voice was starting to get raspy. About 9 last night it was taking vacations from its usual activity and getting all crackly and sheeet.

This morning I wake up and it seems that somebody had broken into my house, performed surgery on my vocal cords, and stolen them while I was sleeping!!! The bastard! This morning I was looking and have no visible seals or stitching nor did the alarm in teh house go off so he must have take them by going straight down my asophagus and have a key/alarm code to the house! Which could explain why it hurts like all hell and it seems as if nobody had been in the house last night....

If you see somebody selling vocal cords in the bay area they're most likely from my throat. Please return them to me, they tend to be very useful most of the time.

Naw, no theft I just thought this would be funny with the responses.

But seriously, if you see the asshole that stole my voice:
    a) kick him in the balls
    b) get my vocal cords back

I got the same thing..... I couldn't talk at all on Monday & Tuesday.

Now, this cold (or whatever the hell it is) is in my chest. Could even be Bronchitis. I'm wheezing and coughing up the loose junk. I might end up going to the doctor tomorrow, I'll have to see how my coughing is.
Other than that, I feel fine.
When I cough, I get nasty head-rush headaches too. Runny nose and congested up head too. This damn cold weather sucks!
    Everyone is sick!

My husband was sick for the past 3 weeks prior to me catching it. Now - his throat is feeling bad and he's getting sick again!!!

Yea, going on 3 days here. I think I did some permanent damage but it's about 1/2 way back to normal. We'll see over the next couple days.

Well, day 4 and it's still not back. It's just kinda raspy and itches so I have this "light" cough. It's wonderful!!!

Maybe it'll be back by tomorrow.

What is this? Day 5? I'm sorta back but it still itches and is all scratchy and blech. Got a nice cough that's been here for the past few days, could be getting better or worse...I can't really tell.

My voice was only gone for a couple days. From there, I had a lot of chest congestion and coughing up greenies. I'm just about healed now.

My husband is sick AGAIN but 10x worse. He was puking yesterday. He has sinus & ear infection, migraine headaches, sore throat w/ chest congestion, and fever. My gawd..... I hope that doesn't come back to me again!!
    ARGH!!!

There is a nasty sinus infection going around in schools now. My little one has it.. :(
He feels rotten and I feel bad for him.. Of course I didn't sleep well so my immune system will be down. Good times..

Today is't bad, I think the voice is back for teh most part (only took 6 days!) but the cough is still there and the schnozz is kinda stuffy.

I'm sorry about his sinus infection. Tell him TW wants him to feel better soon!!!
