Sigh... if only it looked like that... and had the updated engine.

Not good if people on a forum in a day come up with three quick photoshops looking much more appealing than the one professionals likely worked on for years. [ and got paid ].

I didn't think you could order 2011's anymore, only what as in stock. Regardless, post pics when it comes in. I will order my 2012 in Sept and will post the same...of course I can wait a few months to get it. Best of luck.

They will be available by December...or that's how it would appear based off the preliminary dates we saw earlier in this thread...

My dealer gave me a deadline of September 15 but that's not the case, just got an email from him saying I can't order a 2011 anymore. Perfect...

If you sacrifice the T/X Pro package, which I would given how much they want for it, you should be able to find a well-equipped TRD for a damn good price.

I just got an email response from Mike Levine about the engine. I asked him if it was bob carter that told him about an updated engine soon. Here is his response

"I heard about the new engines from a source. I understand that they will have dual VVT-i and direct injection. That's all I know.

    Thanks,

    Mike"

I just emailed him again to see if he has any impression as to the timing of the engine changes. It will be speculation, but it would be speculation from an inside source I'm assuming.

Just emailed Jim Toyota (the owner of Toyota, duh) he said this hasn't been discussed enough and I should open a new thread on every forum I frequent...
