Things your 2nd gen does that you did not know!

That you can turn off that damn seat belt alarm thing.....i dont recall how i did it tho....but i love it

 

i know its 2011, but there is still a thing called "manual" windows and locks

 

I am assuming you are talking about the rear seat headrests...my wife did the same thing when I let her drive it for a week while I was away on business.

I found this out when reading on here earlier today. I just thought it was me hitting the lock instead of the unlock all this time.

 

I didn't know the blower motor had a built in metronome.

 

Order the dirty movies on my satellite. My wife found the bill and I swear I didn't do it. It had to of been the truck.

 

And that Taco Lean was not made with ground turkey.

 

I wouldn't be so sure that it does. The SR5 has the 8" axle, the LSD comes in the 8.4". They all say "LSD oil only", that doesn't necessarily mean it has one though

 

Yeah, I wore out the tops of my thighs getting into the truck for several weeks before I discovered this.

That's kind of cool. I'd be up for that. Good for backpacking. But if it's a Toyota thing, chances are it costs 6 billion dollars. So where'd you get it?

 

I opened up my manual booklet thing, and there it was. I bought the truck used so I didn't pay for it.

 

That's where mine was..bought it brand new and it was there

 

Mine doesn't say LSD oil only I've got a 2007 SR5 4x4, no LSD, no sticker either.

That's pretty damn cool!! I wish mine came with that, is it new for the 2011's?

 

I got one in the mail from Toyota for buying my 2006 & had to go to the dealer to get it cut which never happened. I totally forgot about it.

I found out the 4WD switch was not illuminated but thanks to rcbs204 here purchased the one he designed pnp to now let me see the switch at low light conditions. See his group buy

Just went and looked. I couldn't find this anywhere in my manual.

 

I was sitting in mine one day when I discovered that the right combination of moving that stick thing by the cup holders and tapping my foot makes it move.

 

It was weeks before I realized there was a storage compartment to the left of the steering wheel.
