lol, it was nuts. We must have gotten 5-6" within 3 hours. Co-worker's cars were almost completely submerged. Computers, printers, and blue print plotters were moved to what we thought would be a dry area- all ruined. My Dad found his last corona in one of the fridge's that flipped over in the kitchen after the water withdrew, so he stayed fairly calm. The water was about 50" high inside the office, and about 16" in the warehouse.

You can see the mud line on the corner of the building, that black car was completely submerged
    [IMG]

Water was above the flatbed on this truck... if you look closely at the doorway behind the second tree from the left, you can see the fridge that almost busted through the doors.

    Black hurricanes....

Well, it appears our African-American friends have found yet something
else to be pissed about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson
Lee, of Houston), reportedly complained that the names of hurricanes are
    all Caucasian sounding names.

She would prefer some names that reflect African-American culture such as

Chamiqua, Tanisha, Woeisha, Shaquille, and Jamal. I am NOT making this

up! She would also like the weather reports to be broadcast in

'language' that street people can understand because one of the

problems that happened in New Orleans was, that black people couldn't

understand the seriousness of the situation, due to the racially biased
    language of the weather report.

I guess if the weather person says that the winds are going to

blow at 140+ MPH, that's too hard to understand.

I can hear it now: A weatherman in New Orleans says...

Wazzup, mutha-fukkas! Hehr-i-cane Chamiqua be headin' fo' yo ass like Leroy
    on a rocket!
Bitch be a category fo'! So, turn off dem chitlins, grab yo' chirren, leave
yo crib, and head fo' de nearest FEMA office fo yo FREE shit!!!!

Nice rides! What strips do you take your vette to? I use to frequent Shadyside / Greer in my younger years.

Nothing major in this area but I go to a spot sometimes to fish under the 85/153 exit bridge. Just a small trail.
Also sometimes up off of pace bridge road in dacusville, I think.
I'm always on the lookout just driving around for a trail or gravel road. Also the horse pasture and the muster grounds will be opening up maybe sept 15th. Nothin major but it is pretty nice scenery and a chance to give the pre runner a workout.

Hit me up, I usually go up to scout around before bear season starts and to trout fish up that way.
