I have a 07 2dr PreRunner and I really don't have the money to lift it or put anything too crazy on it.

I'm looking to just find some big wheel/tire combo to put on it that will make it stand out and be able to get abused to a pretty good extent in the desert/rain/etc... What kind of wheels would you recommend for a good price that will hold up to good expectations?

Are you going to stick with your stock rims and get new tires? Or are you going with a whole new setup?

Ya, some steelies look nice, and if you chip one or bend one, its only $40 to replace.

Damn yeah, those are pretty nice.
But I think I have a good budget set, what could I get for $600?

Some places do financing. I recommend you do your research and get what you REALLY want. Check out my thread on what I got.

Both, haha. I'm a newbie when it comes to these things. I just need someone to help me out on the basics. I'm guessing I'm going to need more for wheels and tires huh?

it really depends....ive bought 3 sets of tires for my truck

    they cost me

    $650
    $650
$550 (shouldve been over $800 but i got a deal)

    wheels ive owned 3 sets
    stock (rattlecanned them black)
black steel wheels (bought used for $150)
TRD Ivans (won in a raffle)

if you are looking to buy any sort of fancy wheel youre probably looking at $600 for them unless you buy used or win them or just flat out find a deal

Tires are going to be the same...you can find some cheaper tires for $450 or so...but theyre going to run you anywhere from there up to over $800

Keep saving and when the tires are worn out...then upgrade
