That link kit is pretty nice but $4000 for just links is crazy

DONT NEED LINKS?! your hurting my feelings. everyone needs links! hahaha. i just got sick of my deavers sagging out after beating the piss out of them, or snapping main leafs... so... link it.. and i now no longer have to worry about leafs. my linked truck is staying street legal, and will be a once in a while on the road thing... but to each their own.

What glass would look better on a cbi bumper allpro 2" or glassworks 3". I'm guessing the allpro but glass works is cheaper.

Whats the reason for the glass? Or what kind of susp are you going with? I would say base it more on how your suspension will be setup. It never looks good when your fenders over extend the wheels

^^^ agreed! dumbest looking thing is front or rear glass with stock suspension. and if your tires cant fill the glass, then why even get them? waste of money. so depending on how your suspension travels and where you bump will depend on bulge of glass needed.

as for the guy asking for pics... go under 1st gen builds... mine is in there.

im honestly a fan of pro 2/pro 4 style links for dd/ off road toy. yes you dont need the 24" of travel like you do out of links like mine if you dont feel that you will mainly be in desert.. however, coilovers mounted on the axle and a bar style link system will give you the ride of links with the control and comfort on the road....

I was surprised how well your wheels fill out your fenders. Yours looks good. And your also going LT in the future so its all good

What's your backspacing on your wheels?

This is 33's on 4" bs pre LT with no wheel spacers:

4.5, but i will be at 3in of lift, because no lt yet and 4wd. me and jlee had the same suspension up front, he had to cut like crazy and my tires will stick 1/4 inch out farther than his.

i rub with 31s and a 3 inch lift in the front at full stuff/lock

My tires are 13.4" wide so I don't think it would look too bad for the short time until I have the LT kit on

you will prob fall under the category of the 2 or 3 people i said could benifit from links...lol. you have a 6" kit up front, which will yeild enought travel to keep up with the monster travel links provide and your truck is caged.

you also already tried SUA and it's wasn't working out for ya, hence the upgrade... you didnt just jump in the deep end a try to swim.

also, your doing the work yourself... which saves a TON of money... so the cost game is totally different.

i hear ya on the saggy deavers... that shit sucks. but a simple solution to that is swapping in the all pro baja leafs... they hold up much better under weight and abuse because they are a race pack, and yeild more up travel too which is nice.

good luck in your build project!

thanks man. i rocke the f67 deaver pack on my truck. so it was considered a race pack. and dont get me wrong it did its job, but when beating the shit out of springs, they dont last long. and as far as explaining that any linked truck should be caged, i cant agree more. people dont understand that with race suspension comes race level accidents. i hate seeing those dudes that spent the bare minimum to just get the links on and no cage. that is a great way to kill yourself and others. couldnt have put it any better myself. so kuddos to you man.

Is that all it takes? Just strait swap to the AP baja's with our setup? I've got the f67's and was contemplating sending those fuckers back to Deaver to get re-arched, new bushings, get one of the little clamp things fixed, and paint the rust. But if I can just throw in the baja pack and sell the f67's with no other modifications, I'm game for that.
