I was at my wife's birthday dinner when Adam texted me. After dinner when I was just BSing with her Dad I started getting in on it from my phone.

So we got $750 worth of visa gift cards from our credit card points. We are going to go spend it on something today. I can think of hundreds of things I want, but I'll bet you my wife wins and we get a couch. :(

I'm sure you will enjoy and get plenty of use out that couch.

Maybe if I get all my homework done we'll go hit a couple of the local "trails" :D

I bet she does too. If I were you, I would try to get one of those couches that has the refrigerator in it, to keep the beer cold!

Maybe you could talk her into splitting the money with you?

When my wife takes me furniture shopping I always go to those couches. After a couple minutes of me talking about how I want one of them she decides it is time to go. Darn. :D

hell yeah if I have to spend money I try to get stuff I want lol. "Sure honey pick out the couch you want and the color that matches. As long as it has a frigerator, and reclines I am happy" not that she listens though :pout:

I'm going to refer this to Keith... I don't talk too much tire.

Right now I still have my wife convinced I run the show around here. I'm enjoying it as long as I can! :D

I think it was the last deployment, she got this independent thing going now. Stupid 18month deployment. She got a taste of running the show for over a year.

    Good thinking

Already tried that and there are no couches she wants for 375. She's been asking for a new couch for a year now. I figure this way I won't have to hear her complain anymore, AND we're not actually spending any money.

 Do you happen to have a 6" lift, or a 3" lift and an aftermarket front bumper?

Yeah something about me spending $3K on truck modifications, then telling her we can't buy a couch for $0 isn't working for her :notsure:

I am about to put a 3" lift on it! I have eibachs, and 2" AALs. I am going to buy 5100s, and have it put on next month.

edit: Maybe it would be easier to put them on my f-250.
