I will take you up on that offer... Can you explain what the horse pasture and muster grounds are? Is it a place for some off road driving you say?

It's some pretty cool trail riding up north of pickens. They only open a few months out of the year for people to go in and enjoy the wildlife and scenery.
It used to be pretty rugged and 4x4 friendly only but now you can pretty much take a mini van up in there.
Iv'e been all the way thru it from the rocky bottom entrance on 178 north of holly springs store all the way to the dugs mountain/fire station (cleo chapman) on the main road. There are a lot of little cuttoffs that I didnt get to explore mainly because I sometimes wheel by myself and I didn't have a winch for my pre runner yet.

It's a very, very "tread lightly" area up in there and the locals don't like you being off the trails.
I think it opens sept 15th but I read they might have a burn up there so it might be a little longer. I know it's open for bear season the first 2 weeks of october and I plan on hopefully getting my first bear this season.

    Here's some info.

Toasted for sure, but that was the purose.. Those where last seasons drag radials and already had a new set in the garage for this seasons racing. Plus there is NO funner way to retire old tires then to make clouds out of them :D

    hey NC folks.....you're on notice!!!!

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- Horry County police have charged a North Carolina man with a stabbing another man to death at a Myrtle Beach campground. Authorities say the suspect's mother tried to cover it up.
Lt. Raul Denis says 18-year-old Adam Taylor Dwiggins, of Shelby, N.C., was arrested at the Ocean Lakes Campground after a Saturday night altercation.
Dwiggins is charged with murder in the death of Michael Dalton Fitch, also of Shelby. Police say Fitch was trying to break up a fight involving Dwiggins.
Police have also charged Dwiggins' mother, Kathy Dwiggins, with being an accessory to murder after the fact. Police say she tried to hamper the investigation.
The two are being held at the Horry County jail pending a hearing before a judge. It couldn't be immediately determined Sunday if either has a lawyer.

we at least keep it in state and slightly retarded....

LADSON, S.C. (AP) — Dale Richardson was saved at a tent revival 32 years ago, was called to preach the Lord's word in 2006 and, for the past year, had served as pastor at Freedom Free Will Baptist Church, a modest red brick structure on a South Carolina side road running along a railroad track.
Now he's in jail, charged with kidnapping and raping three women at gunpoint — two of them in a trailer behind the church — and kidnapping a fourth who was not sexually assaulted.
