I had a sticker on the bottom left corner of my windshield from the previous owner, and I went today to see if I could remove it with a razorblade today, and I was testing to see if I could reach it, I hit my hand on the dash and the razorblade fell out of my hand. I thought it just slide in between the glass and the dash, but it looks like it actually fell behind it. My hand is too big to feel around, but I looked and I can't see it. Any suggestions on what to do? Is there anything that it can possibly tear up by being back there?

Me personally I would leave it lol. Yea sure there are a few wires back there but do you think it will cut any wires by itself. I would worry about it hitting your feet while driving. Making its way all the way to the floorboard

You could try one of these to pull it up if it's steel like most are. If you don't want to buy one you could rub a magnent onto a screw driver and magnitize it? If not I wouldn't think that there is too much to worry about. At very most you could remove the dash and get at it. My s10 had a drinking straw covering my VIN and I got a fix it ticket for it that's what I had to do 45min to get it off but if it's anything like replacing the radio it soudn't take but a third of that time.

Quit working your lines on the dash and start using the arm rest like the rest of us.

As for the danger of the razor blade back there - your in more danger stuffing your hand in there to find it then it doing damage back there. Leave it alone and it will find it's way back out the bottom some day.

I would be worried about two things, as mentioned it making its way to the floorboard and not realizing it until its to late and you have sliced your foot. Or, having the razor fall blade down, resting on wires, and with normal driving vibrations the razor slowly makes it way thru the wire's protective coating and creates a short in the system. Maybe a slight chance, but it could happen. I would try to lay on the floorboard and look up with a flashlight and see if you can spot it. The only other thing to do is take the dash apart. :(

Get another blade. Wrap the end of a wire around that and leave a few inches hanging from the end. Take masking tape and wrap the blade in it, sticky side out.

Using the wire end, gently try to maneuver the tape covered blade back down to where the other blade is. The old blade edge may stick to the tape and you can use the wire to pull the whole thing out.

Thanks for y'all's suggestions. I'll see if I can rig something up and get it out. If I can't, I'll wait and see if it'll fall out. I'm not a mister-fix-it type a guy, so if I take the dash apart, chances are I won't be able to get it back on.
