This area is in Kings Beach, CA near North Lake Tahoe. The trails are easy/intermediate. A stock Tacoma with 4x4 should have no problem. It is mostly dirt and loose rocks. The only bad thing about the trails is that some places get very narrow which causes the vegetation to scrape the truck and leaves some pretty pin stripes. It is a very beautiful area with good views of the lake also.

I was just up at Sierra Trek last week. Did the trail to Ellis Peak (Barker Pass area loop) and a few others. Very nice time of the year (except for the mosquitoes :D).

This book can be helpful for finding trails to run.

No. It's less than $20 new. Amazon's algorithms for pricing used books are well and truly f'd up.
