this threw me off a bit until I realized the photo on the link doesnt match the description for 2012. they are showing a model that isnt the 140 inch wheel base (dbl cab long bed) in the description. they are showing the 127 (dbl cab short bed). The photo is generic and not updated.

Well, that will make alot of people happy. TRD and nonTRD leather?

It seems that 1600 is a bit high for leather considering some of the Katzkin prices I have heard about being half that amount.

if you click on the "reviews" tab, it has a bunch of stuff from cars.com ect....they say the new design is eye catching, but I wonder if those are old reviews from when the 2nd Gen arrived in 2005.

I was wondering why they didn't previously offer factory leather and heated seats in the US trucks , you've been able to get them as a factory option for at least 4 years in the Canadian trucks

I have been tracking this thread ever since I bought my 2011 last December, wondering whether or not I would be kicking myself in the ass because of the changes on the 2012. If all the predominant info in this thread is correct, I am glad I pulled the trigger last year. I know have an awesome looking truck that will essentially be a one-of. I love the honeycomb look on the front grill of the 2011, and now no other production year will look like mine. As it stands now, I can easily spot and differentiate a <2010 from a 2011, and now my truck will continue to stand out.

Of course I am bias, but am happy with my decision.

I just noticed the pricing from 2011 to 2012 is the same on that site, so I'm sure they just don't have updated information yet. The main thing that caught my eye was the nav options (although interesting it isn't referenced as Entune).

I'd agree with you about the 11's having a better looking grill than all of the other previous years. Glad your happy with the 2011. I like what they did to the headlights on the 2012. So far I am liking everything for the 2012s the best. Looking forward to pics of The sport package

The base I-4 4x2 model has almost no changes or added options available according to that dealer website. Intermittent wipers was the best thing I saw. The price seems to have gone up bit too. I guess that's good for resale value... discouraging people from ignoring cheaper used trucks to go buy new. Where's the 2013 Tacoma thread? ;)

Knowing my luck, I will buy a 2012 with todays 4.0 v6 and they will release a v6 with 400 hp and it will get 60 mpg in 2013 and put the Prius to shame. Until then 2012 TACO FTW! :yay::headbang:
