Removal of Stereo

I need help someone.
I've looked at Taco Tunes but I still cannot get my stereo out. I'm working on hiding my gps wiring. I have a 2010 TRD Offroad Dble Cab.
I've removed the face place around heat/AC and removed the 4 bolts underneath as indicated on taco tunes. But it still feels like something else is holding the radio in, I'm afraid to pull to hard, afraid I may break something, them my wife will break my arms, LOL!!!
Please help someone!

alls i know its that besides the bolts there a clips that hold the whole radio and faceplate on

 

I felt the same, but just pull, thats what I did. Maybe I got lucky, but there are little tabs that you have to pull in order to get out.

 

Just give it a tug straight out, it won't break.

Yea I know what you mean. After you take the 4 screws out, there are still some clips that hold it in place. Pull straight out on the headunit and it will pop out. When you reinstall, make sure you pop it all the way back in.

 

I was wondering how I was going to get my stereo out, this is very helpful.

 

Anyone seen a thread on how to remove steering wheel controls?
